Handover of power between Mr. Saad Eddine El Otmani and the new Head of Government Mr. Aziz Akhannouch

Rabat - The handover ceremony took place Friday in Rabat between Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, appointed by His Majesty, King Mohammed VI, as Head of Government, and his predecessor, Mr. Saadeddine El Otmani.
In a speech on the occasion, Mr. El Otmani congratulated the new Head of Government on the high royal trust, wishing the new government full help and support.
He also wished Mr. Akhannouch full success in performing his new duties in the coming years in the service of the Kingdom in order to achieve good results given the great challenges, especially the Corona pandemic.
For his part, Aziz Akhannouch praised the qualities of the former Head of Government, praising the "serious" atmosphere that characterized work within the previous government majority, "despite all the difficulties that any government can go through, whether political, situational or related to the Covid-19 pandemic".
Mr. Akhannouch also congratulated Mr. El Otmani on the success of the previous government, which produced major results and projects and supervised the implementation of economic and social development projects under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
