The Head of Government receives the Saudi Foreign Minister

The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, received, on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Presidency of the Government in Rabat, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who is on a working visit to Morocco.
This meeting was an opportunity to reaffirm the good relations of cooperation between the two countries, which enjoy the special patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God Assist Him, and his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Head of Government praised the Saudi position in support of Morocco's territorial integrity, and the two sides also spoke of the importance of holding a new session of the Moroccan-Saudi Joint Higher Committee, as it is the main mechanism for cooperation between the two countries, which is an important step towards activating bilateral cooperation tracks and giving it a new impetus, especially in light of the sincere and common desire of the two countries and the possibilities provided by their economies.
The two sides also discussed the prospects of economic cooperation and encouraging investment initiatives, stressing the importance of enhancing the involvement of economic operators and businessmen in the two countries in this dynamic, which will open new and promising prospects for strengthening, developing, and expanding the framework of bilateral cooperation between the two Kingdoms.
