The Head of Government holds talks with the President of the Millennium Challenge Corporation

On Wednesday, July 20, 2022, the Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, held talks with Ms. Alice Albright, President of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), and the official US delegation participating in the US-Africa Business Summit held in Marrakech. 
 In addition to the Head of Government, the meeting was also attended by Ms. Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy, and Finance, Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, and Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies.
The meeting was an opportunity to discuss various aspects of partnership and cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Commission, in addition to discussing ways and mechanisms to keep pace with the conclusion of the "Millennium Challenge Program" in which Morocco was involved years ago, and which will expire in its current version by the end of March 2023.
During the meeting, Ms. Alice Albright and her accompanying delegation expressed the satisfaction of the body they represent with the level of cooperation with the Kingdom of Morocco, as the partnership has reached new horizons, in line with the successes made by Morocco at various levels and levels, under the wise leadership of His Majesty the King, Mohammed VI, may God assist him.

 For his part, the Head of Government stressed that Morocco is continuing to implement its various commitments with regard to the Millennium Challenge Program, signed between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and its American counterpart represented by the Millennium Challenge Corporation, noting at the same time the remarkable progress recorded at the level of implementation of the various projects covered by the cooperation program "Compact II", stressing that the topics of the Charter are at the heart of the government's priorities, represented in education and training, employment and real estate productivity.
