The Head of Government holds talks with EIB Vice President

The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, received, on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at the headquarters of the Head of Government in Rabat, Mr. Ricardo Mourinho Felix, Vice-President of the European Investment Bank, who is on a working visit to Morocco.
This meeting was an opportunity to highlight the importance of the partnership between Morocco and the European Investment Bank, to review ways to strengthen and develop it, and to keep pace with the important strategies and programs set by Morocco, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, including those aimed at bringing about a deep reform within the public sector, accelerating the implementation of digital transformation workshops, and simplifying procedures and services for public administration. 

The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, praised the response shown by the European Investment Bank in the context of the pandemic when it put in place mechanisms that made it possible to speed up the disbursement of subsidies and facilitate the procedures for approving projects.
This visit coincides with the government's attention to improving the investment climate and encouraging and facilitating the attraction of investments, which constitute a key lever for the revival of the national economy, through the "New Investment Charter", in line with the High Royal Directives.
