  Mr. Sánchez, who heads an important delegation, was received by Mr. Aziz Akhannouch and the Ambassador of Spain in Rabat, Mr. Ricardo Dieth-Hochleitner Rodríguez.

   After the presentation of a unit of the First Royal Air Base, which came to salute the delegation, the Spanish Head of Government was greeted by the Minister of Health and Social Protection, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, the Minister of Transport and Logistics, the Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region and the Ambassador of Morocco in Madrid.

  Mr. Akhannouch was greeted by, on the Spanish side in particular, the Ministers of the Interior and Foreign Affairs and the Ambassador of Spain in Rabat.

  The high-level meeting between Morocco and Spain comes eight years after the last session of this institutional mechanism and consolidates the strategic and dynamic partnership in which the two countries were engaged following the visit of Mr. Sánchez to Morocco last April, at the invitation of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
