Council of Government of Thursday, March 16, 2023

On Thursday, 23 Shaaban 1444, corresponding to March 16, 2023, the Government held a Council of Government , chaired by Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, devoted to the deliberation and approval of a number of draft legal texts and proposals for appointment to high-level positions in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.

 

  • Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree-Law No. 2.23.195 on provisions for the organization of elections for regional pharmacy councils in pharmacies in the north and south, presented by Mr. Khalid Ait Taleb, Minister of Health and Social Protection. 
  • Then, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.22.855 implementing certain provisions of Law No. 34.18 on plant protection products, presented by Mr. Mohamed Sadiki, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests. 
  • The Council of Government  continued its work by deliberating and approving the draft decree No. 2.23.143 implementing Decree-Law No. 2.23.102 of 16 Chaabane 1444 (March 9, 2023) on the dissolution and liquidation of the MCA-Morocco Agency, presented by Mr. Mohcine Jazouli, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of investment,  convergence and evaluation of public policies, on behalf of Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the Budget. 
     

The Council of Government concluded its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointments to positions of responsibility in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution. 

  • At the level of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports, the following have been appointed:
    • Mr. Mohamed Cherif Saleh, Director of Public Affairs, Budget, and Property.
