The Head of Government continues to hold meetings of the April round of social dialogue

Today, Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in Rabat, the meetings related to the April round of social dialogue, chaired by Head of Government, Mr. Aziz  Akhannouch, continued with a session with a delegation from the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), headed by Mr. Chakib Alj, and in the presence of Ms. Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr.  Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the budget, and the Secretary General of the Ministry Delegate to The Head of Government in charge of digital transition and administration reform.

The meeting touched on the importance of the CGEM's involvement in continuing the success of social dialogue and the production of the Labor Code and the strike law, in light of the government's keenness to work jointly and responsibly, together with all social and economic partners, to implement the demands and aspirations of the Moroccan working class.
 

During the meeting, the Head of Government explained that these meetings, which fall within the framework of the April round of social dialogue, were held in an atmosphere of respect and mutual trust, reiterating his government's commitment to the proper functioning of sectoral dialogues, and their enjoyment of guarantees and conditions for success, and praising the honorable outcome of social dialogue, after the current government fulfilled a large number of its commitments, despite the constraints of the situation.  
The April round began last week with meetings with a delegation from the Moroccan Labor Union, and another delegation from the General Union of Workers in Morocco, provided that the next meetings will continue, with a meeting with a delegation from the Democratic Confederation of Labor.
