Head of Government receives President of Indian HCL Tech  Group

The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch received, on Monday, July 24, 2023, in Rabat, Ms. Roshni Nadar, President of HCL Tech Group, a leading Indian group that has chosen Morocco to establish a new software migration center, technical support and software engineering to serve its global customers.
On the occasion of her visit to Morocco, Ms. Roshni Nadar, President of  HCL Technology Group, accompanied by Mr. Mohcine Jazouli, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Investment, Convergence, and Public Policy Evaluation, and Ms. Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, will officially inaugurate a software migration center in Technopolis-Rabat. 
This investment will create more than 1,000 highly qualified jobs, negotiations for which began in 2021 and culminated in 2022 with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties. This project will strengthen the service migration sector in Morocco, particularly in the field of coding, software, and IT services.
Thanks to the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, The Kingdom has engaged in digital transformation, with the aim of giving a new dynamism to national social and economic development.

On this occasion, Mr. Mohcine Jazouli, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Investment, Convergence, and Public Policy Evaluation, said: "We warmly welcome HCL Tech Group to Morocco, convinced that its presence will be a strong engine of growth in the IT sector and the migration of services, opening up many opportunities for our talented youth. This strategic investment by this group contributes to the deep-rooted economic and cultural ties between India and Morocco."
For her part, Ms. Roshni Nadar, President of HCL Tech Group, said: "I am pleased to launch our activities in Morocco to implement digital transformation projects for the benefit of our customers.
