Head of Government receives Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation

The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, received today, Thursday December 14, 2023 in Rabat, Mr. José Manuel Albares, Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation. Who is on a working visit to Morocco, his first since the beginning of the new legislative term, with a view to strengthening bilateral relations between Morocco and Spain in diverse sectors, notably political, economic and cultural.
During the meeting, the two parties praised the distinguished friendship and cooperation that binds the two countries, as well as the Moroccan-Spanish bilateral strategic partnership, sponsored by the leaders of the two countries, his majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, and his majesty king Felipe VI.
 

The two leaders praised the similarity of views on various matters of common interest, as well as the distinguished partnership, based on the foundations of good neighborliness, mutual trust and permanent and constructive dialogue, especially since April 2022, following the visit of Spanish Prime Minister Mr Pedro Sánchez, to Morocco, at the invitation of his majesty king Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory. The strategic partnership between the two countries has now become a multidimensional one, encompassing
all areas.
