Meeting of the Government Council on Thursday, April 25, 2024

The government council met on Thursday, 16 Chaoual 1445, corresponding to April 25, 2024, under the chairmanship of Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, dedicated to the examination of several legal texts projects and the discussion of proposals for appointments to senior positions, in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the beginning of its work, the Government Council examined and approved draft law No. 02.24 amending and supplementing decree No. 1.72.184 of 15 Joumada II 1392 (27 July 1972) relating to the social security system, presented by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah.
  • Subsequently, the Government Council examined and adopted draft law No. 21.24 establishing specific provisions relating to the compulsory basic health insurance system (AMO) applicable to individuals capable of paying contributions and not engaging in any paid or unpaid activity, presented by the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Khalid Ait Taleb.
  • The Government Council continued its work by examining and approving draft decree No. 2.23.1144 aiming to amend and supplement decree No. 2.11.344 of 9 Dhu al-Qi'dah 1432 (7 October 2011) concerning the expenditure procedures of the Economic and Social Council (new version), presented by the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the budget, Fouzi Lekjaa.
     

The Government Council concluded its work by examining and approving proposals for appointments to senior positions, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social and Solidarity Economy:
    • Mrs. Hasna Zarrouk has been appointed Inspector General
  • At the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation:
    • Mr. Si Mohamed Bouaziz has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences of Agadir
  • At the Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills:
    • Mrs. Imane Belmaati has been appointed General Director of the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC);
  • At the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports:
    • Mrs. Ikram Bouayad as Director of the Regional Center for Education and Training Professions of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region.
