House of Councillors. The government program is integrated, ambitious and includes clear priorities

The majority of teams of the House of Councillors stressed on Wednesday in a plenary session devoted to discussing the contents of the government program, that the latter is an integrated and ambitious program that includes clear priorities.

In this context, the RNI team, during this session, which was attended by Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, considered that the government program was in harmony and homogeneous with the party's electoral program as a realistic program that outlined its priorities that respond to the extreme necessities of citizens' concerns, foremost of which is social protection, noting that the program is integrated, numbered, ambitious and bold and faces crises with courage.

He also stressed the government's ability to implement the new development model in a way that moves the economic cycle, and to shift towards a social state in order to erase social disparities, noting the size of the important measures announced by the Head of Government and included in the government program, all of which are aimed at responding to the aspirations of citizens.

For its part, the PAM team highlighted that the government coalition presented a serious and realistic economic and social program that is closely related to the specificity of the stage that the Kingdom is going through, noting with satisfaction that this program also presented a clear roadmap that includes ambitious digital macroeconomic indicators.

He added that the commitments of the government program would cover the most important sectors that are of high priority for the next stage, noting that the program has given special attention to the national educational system in all its components so that it occupies advanced positions in international classifications, and seeks to accelerate the pace of universalization of social protection and strengthen family and community solidarity.

For his part, the Istiqlal Group for Unity and Parity considered that the government program for the next five years was clear in its contents and accurate in its goals and objectives, stressing that this program "is considered the area of intersection between the parties forming the government, and a consensus document for our collective perception of the management of public affairs during this period, thanks to many proposals and procedures (..) , making it a program with a strong political reference ."

He added that it is a program with clear priorities and a new generation of major reform projects, which establishes the desired sectors to correct the structural imbalances of the Moroccan economy and prepare it for the post-pandemic phase, and it is an ambitious program to implement the new development model, universalize social protection, accelerate advanced regionalization, reduce social and territorial disparities, and promote the middle class.

For its part, the Social Democratic Constitutional Group expressed its hope that this new government will be a "government of work and initiatives", noting that all the work tools are available to this government, in addition to the main reference represented in the new development model. She also pointed out that the government is required to "quality implementation" of these major projects and workshops.
