The Head of Government receives Vice-President and Minister of Foreign Relations of the Republic of Colombia

The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, received, on Thursday 28 October 2021, at the Presidency of the Government, Mrs.  Marta Lucia Ramirez, Vice-President, and Minister of Foreign Relations of the Republic of Colombia, who is on an official visit to Morocco within the framework of strengthening the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.  
During this meeting, the two sides noted the distinguished level of friendly relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Colombia, which are characterized by continuous and constructive political dialogue, convergence of views on many regional and international issues of common interest, as well as the keenness of the two countries to strengthen South-South cooperation.  
The Head of Government appreciated the decision of the Republic of Colombia to give instructions to its new ambassador in Rabat, to extend the consular supervision of the Colombian embassy in the Kingdom of Morocco over the entire Moroccan territory.
The two sides also reviewed the important prospects for the partnership offered by the strategic positioning of both countries, as gateways to the African continent, the Arab world, and Europe on the one hand, and to Latin America and the Caribbean on the other. 
During this meeting, the two sides stressed the common desire to continue and strengthen the dynamic that characterizes bilateral relations at all levels, especially through intensifying the exchange of visits between officials, ensuring the regularity of bilateral political consultations, and coordination in various international forums.
