The Head of Government Heads Moroccan Delegation to the 26th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 26)
The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, will co-head the Moroccan delegation at the beginning of this week at the 26th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26), which will be hosted in Glasgow, Scotland, from November 1 to 12, 2021. The Moroccan delegation includes Mr. Mohamed Sadiki, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, and Ms. Leila Benali, Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development.
This conference will be an opportunity to present the ambitious policies and strategies successfully launched by Morocco, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, in order to consolidate the foundations of sustainable development, encourage the energy transition and support clean technologies, in order to enhance the Kingdom's effective contribution to international efforts in this field in accordance with the Kingdom's international commitments.
