The Head of Government holds talks with the President of the African Development Bank Group

The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, held talks on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, in Marrakech, with Mr. Akinwumi Adesina, President of the African Development Bank Group, who is on a working visit to Morocco, accompanied by an important delegation. 
In addition to the Head of Government, the meeting was attended by Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy, and Finance, Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Competencies, and Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies.
 

The talks dealt with the various aspects of the partnership between Morocco and the African Financial Corporation, and ways to strengthen and develop it, where the Head of Government expressed his satisfaction with the level of cooperation and the importance of the major programs, projects and strategies initiated by Morocco within the framework of the partnership with the African Development Bank.
In this context, the Head of Government reviewed the various strategies and programs launched by Morocco under the wise leadership of His Majesty the King, stressing that despite the global economic fluctuations, the government has maintained the continuation of structural reform projects according to its schedule, as well as the continuation of support for social programs, whether in the field of health, education or social protection, and the allocation of additional support to preserve the purchasing power of citizens, in light of the high prices of a range of raw materials globally.
