Council of Government Meeting on Thursday 29 December 2022

On Thursday, 05 Joumada II 1444, corresponding to December 29, 2022, the government held a Council of Government, chaired by Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, devoted to deliberation and approval of a number of draft legal texts and proposals for appointment to senior positions in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.

  • Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft law No. 54.22 supplementing and amending Law No. 69.00 on the State Financial Control of Public Enterprises and Other Bodies, submitted by Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the budget.
  • Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft decree No. 2.22.1045 extending the validity of the state of health emergency throughout the national territory in response to the outbreak of the coronavirus-Covid-19, submitted by Mr. Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of the Interior.
  • The Council of Government  continued its work by deliberating and approving the draft decree No. 2.22.431 on public procurements, considering the observations raised, also presented by Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the budget. 

The Council of Government  concluded its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointment to senior positions in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the level of the National Territory and Urban Planning, Housing, and City Policy, the following have been appointed:
    • Mr. Said Loqmane, Director of the Settat Urban Agency;
  • At the level of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the following are appointed:
    • Mr. Aziz Siyer, Director of the National School of Commerce and Management in Dakhla;
    • Mr. Mohamed Yâou, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in El Jadida;
    • Mr. Hassan Hamaiz, Dean of the Interdisciplinary College of Taroudant;
    • Mr. Abdelouahed Hajjaji, Director of the National School of Applied Sciences of El Jadida;
  • At the level of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports – National Education Department, the following have been appointed:
    • Mrs. Ouafaa Chakir, Director of the Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Souss-Massa region;
    • Mr. Mohamed Fouzi, Director of the Regional Academy for Education and Training of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region.
