At the outset, as we approach the celebration of the Amazigh New Year 2973, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to all « Asggas Amazigh Ighudan »; As you know, the official recognition of Amazigh is the result of the royal will that has made great strides made possible over the past twenty years, and this historic turning point began with the speech of His Majesty the King in 2001; In 2019, the organic law was adopted, setting out the stages of activating the official character of Amazigh and the mechanisms for integrating it into education and in various aspects of life, after 8 years of conservative stagnation. This law strongly and firmly affirms the status of Amazigh and its contribution to the multi-tributary Moroccan identity; Today, thanks to the efforts of the current government, we are witnessing the consecration of the formalization of the Amazigh language as stipulated in the 2011 Constitution, in connection with the proactive vision of His Majesty the King; However, the political will to proceed with the implementation of these workshops is insufficient without mobilizing the necessary financial resources to achieve this ambition. In response, the government has allocated a financial envelope of approximately 200 million dirhams for the year 2022 and programmed 300 million dirhams for the 2023 Finance Law, to be gradually raised in the coming years to reach 1 billion dirhams by 2025; This has made it possible to initiate the implementation of the roadmap for the implementation of these workshops, which includes 25 actions in the axes related to public administration and services, education, justice, culture and audiovisual media. Employing reception agents to guide and guide Amazigh-speaking companions (Tarifit, Tachelhit and Tamzight) and to facilitate their communication with courts, primary health care institutions, hospitals and institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, Communication and Youth; Provision of Amazigh telephone communication assistants to be distributed to a number of call centers belonging to certain ministerial sectors and public institutions, which are witnessing a high demand from the beneficiaries, with a view to disseminating it to all call centers; Support Amazigh activities as well as art exhibitions and initiatives that promote the tangible and intangible heritage of Amazigh culture; Then the inclusion of the Amazigh language was generalized within the headquarters of the administrations, on naming boards, signages, means of transport and websites. Consultative meetings were also held within the framework of a participatory approach with various Amazigh actors, culminating in the adoption of a set of proposals, which we are in the process of implementing; While we are proud to activate Amazigh workshops through these measures, we continue to work within the government in partnership with the various actors, because the recognition of Amazigh cannot be limited to cultural and linguistic rights only, but must also be extended to remedying the lag in social and economic development.
