The Head of Government receives the Governor of Bank Al-Maghrib

Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch received, on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the Head of Government's Office in Rabat, Mr. Abdellatif Jouahri, Governor of Bank Al-Maghrib. 
The meeting was an opportunity to take stock of the economic, monetary, and financial situation in Morocco this year, and the main events that have marked the national economy in the recent period. During their meeting, the two sides also reviewed the government measures it has initiated, in the implementation of the High Royal Instructions, to confront the delicate circumstance marked by the remnants of Covid-19, climate fluctuations, as well as geopolitical tensions to revive the national economy and maintain macroeconomic balances, in addition to the issue of stability and flexibility of transactions within the national market.   
It is worth noting that a group of international institutions and drip institutions praised the resilience of the national economy, which is based on strong foundations, and praised the measures implemented by the government to achieve comprehensive economic growth, gradually reduce the budget and current account deficit and mitigate the effects of the international situation on the national economy.
