Réunion du Conseil de gouvernement du mercredi 17 mai 2023

• At the beginning of the work of this Council, the Government Council deliberated and approved Bill No. 23.23 by which the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health spoke, presented by Mr. Khalid Ait Taleb, Minister of Health and Social Protection.
• As part of the draft decree n°2.23.272 repealing decree n°2.19.786 of 09 Safar 1441H (08 October 2019) establishing a temporary directorate at the Ministry of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water to supervise the completion of the Beni Mansour hydraulic complex in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, it was decided to postpone it to a subsequent governmental meeting.
• The Government Council continued its work by deliberating and approving draft Decree No. 2.23.404 defining the competences and organization of the administrative reform sector, considering the comments raised by Ms. Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform.
• Subsequently, the Government Council deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.23.405 establishing a Directorate General for Digital Transition and defining its powers and organization, considering the observations raised, also presented by Ms. Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform.

The Council of Government   completed its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointment to high-level posts in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

• At the level of the Ministry of Economy and Finance: 
  • Mr. Hakim Firadi has been appointed Director of the Staff Social Work Foundation.
• At the level of the Office of the High Commissioner for Planning:
  • Mr. Jamal Azizi, has been appointed Director General of Statistics and National Accounts.
• At the level of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the appointment of:
  • Mr. Saad Alami Younssi, Director of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Casablanca.
  • Mr. Abdelhamid Ibn El Farouk, Dean of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of Mohammedia.
  • Mr. Samir Fatajou, Director of the National Office for Academic, Social and Cultural Works (ONOUSC).
• At the level of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication - Department of Youth:
  • Mrs. Kenza Abourmane has been appointed Director of Youth.
• At the level of the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family, the appointment of: 
  • Mr. Mohamed Aït Azizi has been appointed Director of the Directorate for the Protection of the Family, Children, and the Elderly.
