Distribution on November 1, 2023, of the second installment (2500 Dh) of financial aid to families affected by the Al-Haouz earthquake and distribution on November 7, 2023, of the first installment (20,000 Dh) of financial aid for the reconstruction of homes that have collapsed completely or partially.
In accordance with the High Royal Directives, tomorrow, Wednesday, November 1, 2023, the distribution operation of the second installment of financial aid for families affected by the earthquake that occurred in our country on September 8, will be launched. The amount of this installment is set at 2500 dirhams per month over a period of one year, benefiting families whose homes have collapsed either partially or completely.
Additionally, on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, the kickoff will be given for the distribution of the first installment of financial aid related to the reconstruction of homes that have collapsed either partially or completely. The first installment, totaling 20,000 dirhams, will be made available to the beneficiaries to support the progress of construction work.
From this date (November 7, 2023) onwards, these families will be able to benefit from the technical support of the relevant services to complete the necessary measures for launching and monitoring reconstruction operations. This includes the development of architectural plans that adhere to the region's specific requirements and standards.
The government will distribute, in accordance with the High Royal Instructions, direct financial aid of 140,000 dirhams for completely collapsed homes and 80,000 dirhams to cover the rehabilitation work for partially collapsed residences.
It should be noted that in the course of October 2023, the government distributed the first installment of financial aid to the affected families, which was set at 30,000 dirhams for one year.
