In Execution of the High Royal Instructions, the Head of Government Chairs a Meeting Focused on Managing Affairs of the Moroccan community abroad
Following the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, as outlined in the Sovereign's Speech on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the Glorious Green March, the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, chaired a meeting on Thursday, November 7. During this meeting, mechanisms necessary for implementing the Royal Vision aimed at ushering in a new era in the management of affairs related to the Moroccan community living abroad were examined.
At the start of the meeting, the Head of Government reviewed the key points of the Royal Speech, which laid out the major reform guidelines, including restructuring the institutional framework of the " Council of the Moroccan Community living abroad" and establishing the " Mohammadia Foundation for Moroccans Residing Abroad". He emphasized that the government has attentively and thoughtfully embraced the High Royal Directives, mobilizing all resources to ensure the success of this reform.
Mr. Aziz Akhannouch affirmed that the government is committed to executing this ambitious Royal Vision with the necessary diligence and urgency, through a series of measures aimed at ensuring the coordination and alignment of responsibilities of institutions charged with managing the affairs of Moroccans abroad, while also meeting the evolving needs of the Moroccan diaspora.
Participants in the meeting discussed initiatives to strengthen the cultural and spiritual ties of the Moroccan community abroad with their homeland, streamline and digitalize administrative and judicial procedures, support skills and talents, and encourage various initiatives and investments within the Kingdom, in light of the incentives provided by the new investment charter.
