Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch unveiled a set of pillars to which the government is committed in the sectors of education, culture, youth, and sports, within the framework of the priority of contributing to the strengthening of the social pillars of the state.
The Head of Government said in a speech during a joint plenary session in Parliament to present the government program, on Monday, that it is committed to reforming, upgrading and rehabilitating the public school to be attractive and a nursery for future competencies, noting that the success of the challenge of a quality school is based on the renewed interest in the actors of the public school and the promotion of educational ambition to progress towards real equal opportunities, stressing that Moroccan children's mastery of the gains of the primary and secondary stages is a necessary condition for universities to play their role. Represented in the transfer and deepening of knowledge.

He added that progress towards equal opportunities requires supporting an ambitious early childhood policy, empowering children with the necessary knowledge, and educating young people to adhere to Moroccan cultural values in all their Islamic, heritage, intellectual, knowledge, social and artistic components, while keeping pace with the younger generation so that it is imbued with the values of openness and tolerance between religions and attention to cultural heritage in its various components.
As for the reform of the educational system, Mr. Akhannouch stressed that the rehabilitation of the teaching profession is considered as a main input, by improving the quality of teachers' training and improving their working conditions, adding that in order to enhance the competencies of teachers, the government will work on a national plan to raise the training capabilities of the education staff.

The most important pillar of this plan, Mr. Akhannouch added, is the creation of selective and renewed training of professors, through the creation of the Faculty of Education for the training of professors, to which access is on a selective basis, in parallel with strengthening the training capacities of the current structures, especially the regional centers for the professions of education and training to enhance the quality of continuous training of teachers. In order to rehabilitate the teaching profession, Akhannouch points out, it also involves improving the teacher's income at the beginning of the track, keeping him up throughout the track, and regularly evaluating his competencies.

Within the framework of the national social dialogue, Mr. Akhannouch explained that during the first year of its mandate, the government is committed to opening a social dialogue, especially with the most representative trade union centers for education, in order to agree on measures and measures aimed at gradually increasing the minimum monthly net wage at the beginning of the professional path, for holders of a certificate of educational qualification from the regional centers for education and training professions.
Regarding investment in human capital, Mr. Akhannouch stressed that it is a priority for the government to enable the public and private sectors to access competencies that suit their needs, as improving university training will enable them to provide them with qualified human resources, capable of meeting the requirements of a diversified and innovation-oriented economy.
In the same context, the Head of Government pointed out that the government, in order to enhance the attractiveness of higher education institutions in our country, will launch an investment plan aimed at greater openness of the university to its surroundings, renovation of university infrastructure and creation of a culture of real university vehicles.

With regard to openness to the world of entrepreneurship, the Head of Government explained that the Government will work to stimulate the voluntary selection of scientific research fields in order to direct it towards the priorities of the national economy. It will also be keen to develop the pathways between the world of entrepreneurship and education through vocational and continuous training, in order to facilitate the integration of young people into the labor market and meet the needs of enterprises for competencies.
