The Head of Government holds coordination meeting to implement and institutionalize the outcomes of the Social Dialogue Agreement
The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, held a coordination meeting on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, with Mrs. Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Mohamed Sadiki, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, Mr. Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Mr. Abdellatif Miraoui, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance, in charge of the budget, and Ms. Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge Digital transition and management reform.
This meeting follows the signing, on Saturday, April 30, 2022, of the minutes of the Social Dialogue Agreement of April 30, 2022, and the National Charter for Social Dialogue, with the aim of identifying the agreed and joint outputs between the various ministries and departments concerned with the implementation of government commitments in this framework.
During this meeting, they also discussed the need to develop all necessary support mechanisms to institutionalize social dialogue. The National Charter for Social Dialogue was signed for the first time on April 30 in order to frame and ensure the continuity of social dialogue in accordance with the high directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, May God Assist Him.
In addition, in preparation for the second round of dialogue with the social partners, starting next June, and for the upcoming meeting of the High Commission for Social Dialogue next September, it was agreed that the government will form thematic working committees, tasked with tracking and implementing the various contents of the minutes of the agreement of April 30, 2022.
