Meeting of the Council of Government on Thursday 2 June 2022

On Thursday 02 Dhu al-Qu'Idah 1443, corresponding to 02 June 2022, the government held its weekly council under the chairmanship of Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, devoted to the deliberation on a number of draft legal texts, and the revision of an international agreement, and proposals for appointment to high-level positions in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the beginning of the Council's work, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.21.349 on public-private partnership contracts for local authorities and their groupings and legal persons under public law of local authorities, presented by Mr. Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of the Interior.
  •  In the same context, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.21.350 on the Standing Committee on Public-Private Partnership Projects for Local Authorities, Their Groupings and Legal Entities under Public Law of Local Authorities, also presented by Mr. Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of the Interior.
  • Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.22.127 amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.05.178 of 22 Rabii I 1427 (21 April 2006) laying down the conditions for participation in the competition for judicial attachés, the examination programme and their score, as well as the procedures relating to the final examination for the above-mentioned attachés,  presented by Mr. Abdellatif Wahbi, Minister of Justice.
  • Following that, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.22.393 suspending the collection of import duties imposed on certain oilseeds and crude oils, presented by Ms. Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy and Finance.
     

The Council of Government examined the Air Services Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines, signed in Rabat on March 17, 2022, as well as Draft law No. 25.22 approving the said agreement, presented by Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African cooperation and Moroccans Expatriates.

The Council of Government concluded its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointments to positions of responsibility in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the level of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, the following persons have been appointed:
    •  Mr. Abdelwahed Belhaj, Director of Budget, Equipment and Independently Managed State Services.
  • At the level of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the following have been appointed:
    • Ms. Hasna Kaji, Dean, Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences, Settat, Hassan I University.
