Meeting of the Council of Government on Thursday 16 June 2022

On Thursday, 16 Dhu al-Qu'Idah 1443, corresponding to June 16, 2022, the government held its weekly council under the chairmanship of Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, devoted to the deliberation on a number of draft legal texts and the revision of an international agreement.

  • At the beginning of the Council's work, the Council of Government deliberated and approved Draft law No. 102.21 on industrial zones, presented by Mr. Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade.
  • Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved the draft Decree No. 2.22.23 amending Decree No. 2.16.211 of 17 Chaabane 1437 (24 May 2016) on the organization of the National Theatre Award, presented by Ms. Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, Minister of National Territory and Urban Planning, Housing, and City Policy on behalf of Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid,  Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication.
  • Following that, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.21.344 supplementing Decree No. 2.13.423 of 28 Rabii I 1435 (30 January 2014) laying down the modalities of application of Articles 48, 48 bis and 50 of Dahir No. 1.58.008 of 4 Shaabane 1377 (24 February 1958) as the general status of the civil service relating to the placement and integration of attached employees,  presented by Mrs. Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform.
  • The Council of Government continued its work by deliberating and approving draft Decree No. 2.22.438 amending Decree No. 2.77.862 of 25 Chaoual 1397 (9 October 1977) implementing the Customs and Indirect Taxes Code of the Customs and Indirect Taxes Administration and approved by the Dahir as Law No. 1.77.339 of 25 Chaoual 1397 (9 October 1977),  presented by Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the budget.
     

The Council of Government concluded its work by examining the Agreement on the Prevention of Double Taxation with Respect to Taxes on Income and the Prevention of Tax Evasion and Evasion between the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Government of the United Republic of the Comoros, signed in Dakhla on 31 March 2022,  and Draft law No. 31.22 approving the said Convention, presented by Mrs. Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy and Finance, on behalf of Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African cooperation and Moroccans Expatriates.
