Signing a framework agreement on the implementation of the program for the training of teachers in primary and secondary education bythe year 2025between the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the Ministry of National Education, Primary Education and Sports and the Ministry of Economy and Finance:

  •  Allocating a financial envelope of up to 4 billion dirhams over five years.
  •  Establishment of a new 5-year foundation configuration architecture.

Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, chaired, on Monday, June 13, 2022, the signing ceremony of a framework agreement on the implementation of the program for the training of teachers and teachersof primary and secondary education by the year 2025, concluded between the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports and the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

This program comes as an embodiment of the high care given by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, and his supportto the issues of education, training and scientific research as a key lever for the rehabilitation of the human element and a pivotal pillar in the development project, and in implementation of the requirements of Framework Law No. 17-51 on the system of education, training and scientific research and the new development model, which made raising the level of professors and professors training, care and motivation an essential entry point to raise the quality of education and training in our country. This is done by establishing a new engineering The basic training consists of 5 years, during which training takes place in three integrated spaces (basic training in the bachelor's courses in education in the competent university institutions, vocational training in the regional centers for the professions of education and training, and training in educational institutions).

 


Thus, this program aims to meet the current and future needs of professors in various disciplines of primary and secondary education, and to make the bachelor's courses in education a tributary mainly to enter the teaching professions, by increasing their absorptive capacity, making them more attractive and improving the quality of basic training.
The duration of this program extends for five years, and the government has allocated a financial envelope of more than four billion dirhams for it.
