Council of Government of Thursday, June 30, 2022

On Thursday 30 Dhu al Qu' Idah 1443, corresponding to 30 June 2022, the Government held its weekly council, remotely, under the chairmanship of Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, devoted to deliberate on a number of draft legal texts and proposals for appointment to high-level positions in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the beginning of the Council's work, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.22.243 implementing certain provisions of Law No. 76.17 on plant protection, presented by Mr. Mohamed Sadiki, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests. 
  • Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.22.433 establishing the Ain Johra Industrial Acceleration Zone, presented by Mr. Nizar Baraka, Minister of Equipment and Water, on behalf of Mr. Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade.
  • The Council of Government continued its work by deliberating and approving draft Decree No. 2.22.367 amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.08.680 of 3 Joumada II 1430 (28 May 2009) implementing Law No. 01.07 promulgating special procedures relating to real estate residences for the promotion of Tourism and amending and supplementing Law No. 61.00 as the status of Tourism enterprises,  presented by Ms. Fatim-Zahra Ammor, Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts,  Social and Solidarity Economy.   
     

The Council of Government concluded its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointments to positions of responsibility in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the level of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forestry, the following have been appointed:
    • Mr. Hssain Rahaoui, Director of the Doukkala Regional Agricultural Development Office.
    • Mr. Tarik Bouattioui, Chief Financial Officer.
  • At the level of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the following have been appointed:
    • Mr. Houssine Azeddoug, President of Hassan II University of Casablanca.
  • At the level of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the following persons have been appointed:
    • Ms. Ayda Fathi, Director of the Automotive Industry.
  • At the level of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the following persons have been appointed:
    • Mr. Brahim Oubaha, President of the Hassan II Foundation for the Promotion of Social Action of Public Health Workers.
