On Thursday 7 Dhu al-Hijja 1443, corresponding to 7 July 2022, the Government held its weekly council, by videoconference, under the chairmanship of Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, devoted to a sectoral presentation on the participation of the Kingdom of Morocco on 21 and 22 June 2022 in Geneva in the examination of the national report before the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women,  and to deliberate on a number of draft legal texts and proposals for appointment to high-level posts in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

  • Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.21.624 implementing article 212 of Law No. 40.13 on civil aviation, presented by Mr. Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of the Interior.
  • Following that, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.21.519 regulating the youth institutions of the Government authority in charge of youth, taking into account the comments raised by Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication.
  • The Council of Government continued its work by deliberating and approving the draft decree No. 2.22.470 defining the list of diseases giving entitlement to a medium-term disease license, presented by Mrs. Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform.
     

The Council of Government concluded its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointments to positions of responsibility in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the level of the Ministry of National Territory and Urban Planning, Housing, and City Policy, the following persons have been appointed:
    • Mr. Mohamed Assous, Director of the Urban Agency of Guelmim Oued Noun.
  • At the level of the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and the Family, the following persons have been appointed:
    • Mr. Adil Ghmart, Director of Human Resources, Finance and Public Affairs.
