The Head of Government receives the Chairman of the National Committee for Monitoring the Protection of Personal Data and the Committee on the Right to Information

The Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch received, on Thursday, March 17, 2022, in Rabat, Mr. Omar Seghrouchni, President of the National Committee for Monitoring the Protection of Personal Data and Chairman of the Committee on the Right to Access Information.
The meeting was an opportunity for Mr. Omar Seghrouchni to present an overview of the most prominent challenges facing the two committees to serve citizens, administrations, and companies, highlighting the most important steps that have been taken since their inception. During the meeting, they also talked about the most important procedures and measures to be taken to improve and develop the work of the two committees. 
It should be noted that the National Committee for Monitoring the Protection of Personal Data, established by Law No. 08-09 on the protection of private persons about the processing of personal data, ensures the integrity and legitimacy of the processing of personal data of individuals, and does not harm their private lives or fundamental freedoms and rights.
