Council of Government of Thursday, April 13, 2023

• The Council of Government deliberated and approved Draft law No. 37.22 on the Higher Institute of the Judiciary, presented by Mr. Abdellatif Wahbi, Minister of Justice.
• Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved Draft law No. 15.23 establishing a temporary committee to manage the affairs of the press and publishing sector, presented by Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication. 
• Following that, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.23.335 amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.06.574 of 10 Dhu al-Hijja 1427 (31 December 2006) on the application of value added tax provided for in Section III of the General Tax Code. 
• The Council of Government continued its work by examining the Statute of the OIC Action Centre, adopted by the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers at its forty-third session held in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, on 18 and 19 October 2016, and the draft Law No. 14.23 approving the said Statute, presented by Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African cooperation, and Moroccans Expatriates.
   

The Council of Government concluded its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointments to positions of responsibility in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

• At the level of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports - National Education Department, the following persons have been appointed:
  • Mr. Younes Shimi, Secretary-General;
• At the level of the Ministry of Equipment and Water, the appointment of:
  • Ms. Zineb Benhabiba, President of the Foundation of Social Works for Public Works;
  • Mr. Jawad Boutahar, Director of the Hassania School of Public Works.
