Government Council of Thursday, May 11, 2023

On Thursday 20 Chaoual 1444 H, corresponding to May 11, 2023, the Government held a Government Council, chaired by Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, devoted to the deliberation and approval of a number of draft legal texts and proposals for appointment to high-level positions in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the beginning of the work of this Council, the Government Council deliberated and approved the draft Decree No. 2.23.273 amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.14.652 implementing Law No. 104.12 on freedom of prices and competition, presented by Mrs. Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy, and Finance. 
  • Subsequently, the Government Council deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.23.274 amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.15.109 implementing Law No. 20.13 on the Competition Council, also presented by Ms. Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy and Finance.
  • The Government Council continued its work by deliberating on draft Decree No. 2.23.404 defining the competences and organization of the administrative reform sector, and draft Decree No. 2.23.405 establishing a Directorate General for Digital Transition and defining its powers and organization, presented by Ms. Ghita Mezzour,  Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, whose approval has been postponed to a later session of the Government Council.
     

The Council of Government   concluded its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointments to positions of responsibility in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the level of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports - Department of National Education:
    • Mr. Mustapha Sefiani has been appointed Director of the Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region.
  • At the level of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation:
    • Mr. Farid El Hebil has been appointed Director of the National School of Applied Sciences of Oujda.
    • Mr. Rachid El Hadari has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of Ben M'sik Casablanca.
