The Head of Government oversees the signing of a partnership agreement to prepare and equip the "Hassan II Regional Hospital Center" in Agadir

The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, in the presence of the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Mr. Khalid Ait Taleb, the Governor of the Souss-Massa region, the prefect of Agadir-Ida-Ou Tanane, Mr. Ahmed Hajji, the President of the Council of the Souss Massa region, Mr. Karim Achengli, and the First Vice-President of the Territorial Community of Agadir, Mr. Mustapha Bouderga, supervised, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, the signing of a partnership agreement related to the preparation and equipping of the "Hassan II Regional Hospital Center" in the Community of Agadir. The Head of Government also paid a field visit to two urban health centers in the city after Re-expanding and formatting them.
In accordance with the High Royal Instructions, the project to develop the hospital center and health centers is part of the Government's plan to improve and expand the health offer, in line with the Government's integrated strategy aimed at radically reforming the national health system and consolidating the foundations of the social State.
The total cost of preparing and equipping the Hassan II Regional Hospital Center, in accordance with the partnership agreement signed between the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the Wilaya of the Souss Massa region, the Souss Massa regional council, the Agadir Territorial Community and the local development company "Souss-Massa Tahia" in Agadir, will be 135 million dirhams, distributed as follows: 60 million dirhams from the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, 50 million dirhams from the Souss Massa region, in addition to 25 million dirhams contributed by the territorial community of Agadir.
Under this agreement, in addition to preparing the hospital center and equipping it with medical equipment, an oncology clinic, a storage center for the kidney clearance center inside the hospital, as well as the emergency department and surgery rooms, as well as the regional laboratory and pharmacy warehouse will be built.
