Statement by the Royal Office

Rabat - Here follows a statement by the Royal Office: 

"His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, appointed, on Monday, March 24, 2025, some officials of constitutional institutions. These are:

 

- Abdelkader Amara, President of the Economic, Social, and Environmental Council.

- Mohamed Benalilou, President of the National Authority for Probity, Prevention, and the Fight against Corruption.

- Hassan Tariq, Ombudsman of the Kingdom.

 

These appointments are part of the will of His Majesty the King, may God preserve Him, to ensure that these institutions fulfill the missions entrusted to them by the Kingdom’s Constitution, strengthen their role in upholding the principles of good governance, consolidating participatory democracy, and safeguarding rights and freedoms.

They also reflect the interest given by His Majesty the King, may God glorify Him, to these bodies, as independent constitutional institutions, in order to give new momentum to their missions and enhance their interaction with various national institutions, in the follow-up of the different reforms and major projects in the Kingdom."
