The Head of Government receives Gerd Müller, Director-General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization

The Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, received, on Monday, May 16, 2022, in Rabat, Mr. Gerd Müller, Director-General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, who is on a working visit to Morocco.
The meeting, which was held in the presence of representatives of the United Nations agency, was an opportunity to address the intensive and diverse partnership between the Kingdom and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, as well as to strengthen the strategic partnership concluded between the two parties, giving it a new impetus to enable Morocco to position itself as a platform for technology transfer and strengthening its capabilities in the industrial field.
This meeting was also an opportunity to exchange and identify other aspects of cooperation between Morocco and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), in support of the government's industrial roadmap, which concerns several strategic sectors such as the food industry, e-commerce, Industry 4.0, circular economy, waste management, energy and industrial zones, and South-South cooperation.
