Government Council Meeting of Thursday, October 19, 2023

The Government Council held a meeting on Thursday, 3 Rabia Al-Akhir 1445, corresponding to October 19, 2023, under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch. The primary purpose of this meeting was to present preparatory measures for the preparation of the Finance Bill (PLF) for the 2024 financial year and to review draft legal texts and international conventions for later presentation to the Council of Ministers.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Government Council received a presentation on the preparatory measures for the elaboration of the Finance Bill for the financial year 2024, delivered by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Mrs. Nadia Fettah.
Subsequently, the Government Council took note of the following draft legal text :

  1. The draft decree No. 2.23.899 amending the decree No. 2.01.93 of 29 Rabia Al-Awwal 1422 (June 22, 2001) regarding the implementation of the provisions of Law No. 33.97 concerning the wards of the Nation, presented by the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of National Defense Administration, Abdeltif Loudyi ;
  2. The Civil Law Convention on Corruption, adopted in Strasbourg on November 04, 1999, and of draft law No. 20.23 approving the said Convention, presented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatraites, Nasser Bourita ;
  3. The Criminal Law Convention on Corruption, adopted in Strasbourg on January 27, 1999, and on draft law No. 21.23 approving the said convention, also presented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriantes, Nasser Bourita.
