This meeting was devoted to identifying the necessary procedures for the implementation of workshops for the universalization of social protection, in implementation of the royal directives contained in a number of speeches of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, aimed at consolidating the foundations of the social state.

During this meeting, the Head of Government recalled the great importance that HM the King attaches to the advancement of the social field, in parallel with the efforts exerted to achieve the economic development of our country, as HM the King had called in his 2018 throne speech for a deep review of the social protection system according to a clear and precise schedule that extends to 2025 .

The Head of Government recalled the royal directives related to this great and unprecedented national project, which, as HM the King stressed, requires a real reform of the existing social systems and programs, in order to increase their direct impact on beneficiaries, especially through the activation of the unified social register.

The Head of Government also recalled the High Royal Instructions contained in His Majesty's speech on the occasion of the opening of the first session of the first legislative year of the eleventh term, on October 8, in which His Majesty considered that the new government is responsible for setting priorities and projects, during its mandate, and mobilizing the necessary means to finance them, within the framework of the implementation of the new development model.

The President called on the concerned members of the government to recall these royal directives, as well as the commitments contained in the government program related to the universalization of social protection and strengthening the foundations of the social state, and to think about ways to accompany the field implementation of workshops for the universalization of social protection, explaining that the file of universal compulsory health coverage constitutes a first station in these workshops, which will be followed by other stations.

In order to achieve these goals, and after reviewing all the stages and measures that have been taken, the Head of Government instructed all stakeholders to intensify their efforts and to harness all means to achieve the objectives set for this societal project, set by His Majesty the King, may God assist him, and to provide all Moroccans with services that guarantee their dignity and benefit from full social protection.
