Meeting of the Council of Government on Thursday 25 August 2022

On Thursday, 27 Muharram 1444, corresponding to 25 August 2022, the Government held its weekly council, chaired by Head of Government Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, devoted to the deliberation and approval of a number of draft legal texts and proposals for appointment to high-level positions in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.

  • Subsequently, the Council deliberated and approved the draft Decree No. 2.22.495 supplementing Decree No. 2.04.89 of 18 Rabii II 1425 (7 June 2004) defining the competence of Academic institutions and postgraduate training as well as national certificates and conformity, presented by Mr. Abdellatif Miraoui, Minister of Higher Education,  of Scientific Research and Innovation.
  • After that, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.21.501 on the protection of workers exposed to Asbestos dust, presented by Mr. Younes Sekkouri Oubahsso, Minister of Economic Inclusion,  Small Business,  Employment and Skills. 
  • In the same context, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.21.502 amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.08.528 of 25 Joumada I 1430 (21 May 2009), on the protection of workers against the risks caused by gazoline and substances in which the proportion of gazoline exceeds 1% of the volume,  also presented by Younes Sekkouri Oubahsso, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills. 
     

The Council of Government completed its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointment to high-level posts in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the level of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the following have been appointed: 
    • Mr. Abdelkrim Guiri, Director of Research, Regulation and International Cooperation at the General Treasury of the Kingdom.
  • Ahmed Abbar, Director of Public Accounts at the General Treasury of the Kingdom.
    • Mr. Lotfi Missoum, Director of Public Finance at the General Treasury of the Kingdom.
  • At the level of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests:
    • Mr. Jawad Bahji, Director-General, National Agricultural Advisory Board.
    • Mr. Said Aqarial, Director, Tadla Regional Agricultural Investment Board.
