Council of Government of Thursday, March 8, 2023

On Wednesday, 15 Shaaban 1444, corresponding to March 8, 2023, the government held a Council of Government, chaired by Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, devoted to deliberation and approval of a number of draft legal texts and proposals for appointment to senior positions in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.

  • Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved Draft law No. 58.22 amending and supplementing Law No. 41.05 on Undertakings for Collective Investment, presented by Ms. Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy and Finance. 
  • Then, the Council of Government deliberated and approved Draft law No. 01-22 on credit bureaus, considering the comments raised, also presented by Ms. Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy and Finance. 
  • The Council of Government  then deliberated and approved the draft liquidation law No. 11.23 on the implementation of the Finance Law for the 2021 financial year, presented by Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the Budget. 
  • The Council of Government  continued its work by deliberating and approving draft Decree No. 2.22.1036 amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.05.830 of 26 Ramadan 1427 (19 October 2006) establishing the "Moroccan Book Prize", awarded by Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication. 
     

The Council of Government concluded its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointments to positions of responsibility in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the level of the Ministry Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of digital transition and administrative reform, the following were appointed:
    • Mr. Aziz Khalladi, Director of Human Resources and Finance;
  • At the level of the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy - Tourism Department, the appointment of:
    • Mr. Mohamed Maslak, Director, Secretary General; At the level of the Office of the High Commissioner for Planning, the appointment of:
    • Mr. Samir Isara, Director of the National Documentation Centre;
  • At the level of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the appointment of:
    • Ms. Maria Boujaddaine, Dean of the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences of Tetouan;
  • At the level of the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family, the appointment of:
    • Ms. Fatima Hmamou, Director of the Social Development Agency.
