Meeting of the Council of Government on Wednesday 27 July 2022

On Wednesday, 27 Dhu al-Hijja 1443, corresponding to 27 July 2022, the Government held its weekly council, by videoconference, under the chairmanship of Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, devoted to a sectoral presentation, deliberating and approving a number of draft legal texts and proposals for appointment to high-level positions in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.

  • Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved the draft decree No. 2.22.564 on the extension of the state of health emergency throughout the national territory to deal with the coronavirus-Covid-19 epidemic, presented by Mr. Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of the Interior.
  • Then, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.22.472 implementing Law No. 80.21 establishing the National Agricultural Register, presented by Mr. Mohamed Sadiki, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Rural Development,  Water and Forests. 
  • The Council of Government continued its work by approving draft Decree No. 2.22.447 amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.12.293 (5 July 2012) determining the modalities for the distribution and payment of subsidies granted to political parties, after its study was followed in accordance with the decision of the Council of Government held on 23 June 2022.
     

The Council of Government concluded its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointments to positions of responsibility in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the level of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the following have been appointed: 
    • Mr. Mohamed Manchoud, Inspector General of Finance.
    • Mr. Younes Idrissi Kaïtouni, Director of Resources and Audit, Directorate General of Taxes.
  • At the level of the Ministry of National Territory and Urban Planning, Housing, and City Policy, the following persons have been appointed:
    • Mrs. Zahra Sahi, Director of the Urban Agency of Essaouira.
  • At the level of the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and the Family, the following persons have been appointed:
    • Ms. Salma Tazi, Director of the Women's Directorate.
