Meeting of the Council of Government on Thursday 29 September 2022
On Thursday 03 Rabii 1 1444, corresponding to September 29, 2022, the Government held its weekly council, chaired by Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, devoted to the deliberation and approval of a number of draft legal texts, as well as the revision of an international agreement and proposals for appointment to positions of responsibility in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.

- At the beginning of this meeting, the Council of Government deliberated and approved Draft law No. 69.21 amending Law No. 15.95 on the Commercial Code and enacting transitional provisions on execution deadlines, presented by Mr. Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade.
- Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree-Law No. 2.22.770 on special provisions for the National Press Council, presented by Mr. Mohamed Hajoui, Secretary-General of the Government, on behalf of Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication.
- Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved the draft decree No. 2.22.720 extending the validity of the state of health emergency throughout the national territory in response to the coronavirus-Covid-19 epidemic, presented by Mr. Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of the Interior.
- With regard to draft Decree No. 2.22.780, it was decided to defer consideration of it for submission to a subsequent Council of Government .
The Council of Government examined an international agreement on the Constitution of the African Civil Aviation Commission, adopted in Dakar on 16 December 2009, and Draft law No. 34.22 approving the said Constitution, presented by Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African cooperation and Moroccans Expatriates.
The Council of Government concluded its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointments to positions of responsibility in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.
- At the level of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the following persons have been appointed:
- Mr. Rachid Sarrakh, Director of Consumer Protection and Quality Control and Market.
- and Mr. Mohamed Benjelloun, Director of Internal Trade and Distribution.
- At the level of the Office of the High Commissioner for Planning, the following have been appointed:
- Mr. Salah Eddine Bahji, Director of the School of Information Sciences.
