Meeting of the Council of Government of Thursday, November 10, 2022

On Thursday 15 Rabii II 1444, on 10 November 2022, the Council of Government met, chaired by Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, to make a sectoral presentation on the 2022-2026 roadmap for a quality public school for all, and to deliberate and approve a number of draft legal texts and proposals for appointment to high-level positions in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.

  • Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.22.255 implementing the provisions of Law No. 65.00 as a basic health coverage code, presented by Ms. Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy and Finance.
  • Draft Decree No. 2.22.581 specifying the conditions and procedures for the appointment of State representatives to the deliberative bodies of public institutions and enterprises and the amounts and modalities of payment of the allowances granted to them, Draft Decree No. 2.22.582 specifying the conditions and modalities for the appointment of independent members of the deliberative organs of public institutions and the amounts and modalities of payment of the indemnities granted to them and draft Decree No. 2.22.191 on air navigation services, were deferred to a subsequent Council of Government .
     

The Council of Government concluded its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointments to positions of responsibility in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the level of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African cooperation and Moroccans Expatriates, Department of Moroccans Expatriates, were appointed:
    • Mr. Moulay Ismail Lamghari Moubarrad, Secretary-General;
  • At the level of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics - Transport Department, the appointment of:
    • Mr. Khalid Cherkaoui, Secretary-General;
  • At the level of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports - National Education Department, the following persons have been appointed:
    • Mr. Fouad Chafiqi, Inspector General for Educational Affairs;
  • At the level of the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forestry, Mr.
    • Mr. Mahjoub Lahrach and Mr. Aziz Bellouti were appointed respectively Director of the Regional Agricultural Development Office of Gharb (ORMVAG) and Director of the Regional Agricultural Development Office of Loukkos (ORMVAL);
  • At the level of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the appointment of: 
    • Mr. Mustapha Diani, Dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences of Tangier;
    • Mr. Kamal Reklaoui, Director of the National School of Applied Sciences of Tetouan.
