Council of Government Meeting on Thursday 20 April 2023

On Thursday, 29 Ramadan 1444, corresponding to April 20, 2023, the Council of Government  held a Council of Government, chaired by Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, devoted to deliberation and approval of a number of draft legal texts and proposals for appointment to senior positions in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.

  • Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved Draft law No. 95.21 amending and supplementing the Dahir as Law No. 1.73.255 of 27 Shawwal 1393 (November 23, 1973) on the regulation of fisheries, submitted by Mr. Mohammed Sadiki, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests. 
  • Following that, the Council of Government deliberated and approved the draft decree No. 2.23.103 on the granting of settlement permits related to illegal buildings, submitted by Ms. Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, Minister of National Territory and Urban Planning, Housing, and City Policy. 
  • The Council of Government  proceeded to deliberate and approve draft decree No. 2.22.317 on the suspension of the collection of import duties imposed on certain steel tubes and pipes, submitted by Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the budget. 
     

The Council of Government  concluded its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointment to senior positions in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the level of the Ministry of National Territory and Urban Planning, Housing, and City Policy - Housing and City Policy Department, the following have been appointed:
    • Mr. Youssef Hosni, Secretary General;
  • At the level of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the appointment of:
    • Ms. Latifa Mouhir, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology in Mohammedia;
    • Mr. Houcine Ouchni, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Oujda;
