Meeting of the Government Council on Thursday, December 19, 2024
The Government Council convened on Thursday, 17 Jumada Al Akhir 1446, corresponding to December 19, 2024, under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Mr. Aziz Akhannouch. This meeting was dedicated to reviewing several draft legal texts in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.
- During this meeting, the Government Council examined and approved Decree No. 2.24.1096, establishing the status of the personnel of the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration (DGAPR). This decree was presented by Mrs. Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, the Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform.
- The review of Decree No. 2.24.730, concerning the creation of the Regional Delegation for Tourism, Handicrafts, Social and Solidarity Economy, Youth, Culture, and Communication, as well as the determination of its attributions and organization, and Decree No. 2.24.731, regarding the creation of the Regional Delegation for Commerce, Industrial and Extractive Production, and Economic Integration, and the determination of its attributions and organization, was postponed to a future Government Council meeting for further consideration.
- Furthermore, the Government Council reviewed and approved three additional decrees related to administrative decisions, taking into account the observations raised. These decrees were also presented by Mrs. Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni:
- Decree No. 2.24.522, amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.22.385 of May 8, 2023 (17 Shawwal 1444), which establishes the list of administrative decisions necessary for the implementation of investment projects, with a processing period for related requests not exceeding 30 days;
- Decree No. 2.24.523, amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.22.386 of May 8, 2023 (17 Shawwal 1444), which defines the list of administrative decisions requiring an extension of the legal deadline for their issuance in cases requiring technical expertise or a public inquiry;
- Decree No. 2.24.524, amending and supplementing Decree No. 2.22.387 of May 8, 2023 (17 Shawwal 1444), which specifies the list of administrative acts considered as approved through the silence of the administration following the expiration of the deadline for processing the corresponding requests.
