Meeting of the Council of Government on Thursday 8 September 2022

On Thursday 11 Safar 1444, corresponding to 8 September 2022, the government held its weekly council, chaired by Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, devoted to the presentation of two sectoral presentations, one on the developments of the 2022-2023 school year, and the other on the government's results in Parliament during the first legislative year of the eleventh legislature,  and to deliberate on a number of draft legal texts and proposals for appointment to high-level posts in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

  •  Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved Draft law No. 27.22 amending and supplementing Act No. 65.00 as the Basic Code of Health Coverage, presented by Mr. Khalid Ait Taleb, Minister of Health and Social Protection.
  • Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.22.567 establishing the Fez-Meknes industrial acceleration zone, presented by Mr. Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade.
  • The Council of Government continued its work by deliberating and approving draft Decree No. 2.22.528 amending Decree No. 2.18.442 of 27 Chaoual 1441 (19 June 2020) implementing Law No. 74.15 on the Tafilalet and Figuig mining basin, taking into account the observations raised, presented by Ms. Leila Benali,  Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development.

The Council of Government completed its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointment to high-level posts in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the level of the Ministry of Equipment and Water, the following have been appointed: 
    • Mr. Ait Ihdad Abdelkrim, Director of Hydraulic Equipment.
  • At the level of the Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Department of Vocational Training:
    • Mr. Sebbaq Mohamed, Director of Administrative Affairs and Human Resources,
  • At the level of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, the appointment: 
    • Mr. Bahi Houssine, Director of the Royal Institute for the Training of Youth and Sports Executives;
  • At the level of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, the fisheries sector:
    • Mr. Idriss Tazi, Director of Maritime Training, Sea Farers, and Rescue.
