On Thursday 11 Rajab 1444, corresponding to 02 February 2023, the Council of Government held a Council of Government , chaired by Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government, dedicated to the presentation of a sectoral presentation on the "Forsa Program: Results of the achievements of 2022 and the work program for the year 2023", and to deliberate and approve a number of draft legal texts and proposals for appointment to high-level positions. in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

  • Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved Draft law No. 01-23 amending and supplementing the Dahir considered as Law No. 1-93-364 of 19 Rabi II 1414 (6 October 1993) establishing the Hassan II Academy of Science and Technology, taking into account the observations made in this subject, presented by Mr. Abdellatif Miraoui,  Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation.
  • Subsequently, the Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.22.335 amending Decree No. 2.14.867 of 7 Dou Al Hijja 1436 (21 September 2015) on the National Commission for Public Order, presented by Mr. Mohamed Hajoui, Secretary General of the Government.
  • The Council of Government deliberated and approved draft Decree No. 2.22.812 establishing the amounts of allowances and expenses to which the members of the Steering Committee of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Promotion of Social Work for Education and Training are entitled, presented by Mr. Abdellatif Miraoui, Minister of Higher Education,  for scientific research and innovation, on behalf of Mr. Chakib Benmoussa, Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports.
  • The Council of Government continued its work by deliberating and approving draft Decree No. 2.22.771 defining the powers and organization of the Ministry for Relations with Parliament, presented by Mr. Mustapha Baitas, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Relations with Parliament, Government Spokesman.
     

The Council of Government concluded its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointments to positions of responsibility in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution.

  • At the level of the Office of the High Commissioner for Planning, the following have been appointed:
    • Mr. Mustapha Zafri, Director of National Accounts;
  • At the level of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication - Youth Department, the appointment of:
    • Mr. Abdelwahed Belhaj, Director of Administrative and Public Affairs in the Youth Department;
  • At the level of the Ministry of National Territory and Urban Planning, Housing, and City Policy, the appointment of:
    • Ms. Nisrine El Alami, Director of the Urban Agency of Tetouan;
    • Mr. Moulay Ahmed Hammou, Regional Inspector of Urbanization, Architecture and Territorial Development of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra Region;
  • At the level of the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy - Tourism Department, the appointment of:
    • Mr. Redouane Zahiri, Director of Resources and Training;
  • At the level of the Ministry of Equipment and Water, the appointment of:
    • Mr. Abdelfettah Sahibi, Director-General of Meteorology;
  • At the level of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the appointment of:
    • Mr. Abdelaziz Rahmouni, Dean of the Faculty of Foundations of Religion of Tetouan;
    • Mr. Ahmed Moussa, Director of the National School of Applied Sciences of Tangier.
