On Thursday, 15 Ramadan 1444 AH, corresponding to 6 April 2023, the government held a Council of Government chaired by Head of Government Mr. Aziz Akhannouch to discuss and approve a number of draft legal texts and proposals for appointment to high-level positions in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.

  • The Council of Government examined and approved draft Decree No. 2.22.925 laying down the conditions for granting the State guarantee to cover emergency liquidity, considering the remarks made by Ms. Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy and Finance. 
  • Subsequently, the Council of Government examined and approved draft Decree No. 2.22.632 containing provisional measures on direct assistance to widows in vulnerable situations who have custody of their orphaned children, presented by Ms. Aawatif Hayar, Minister of Solidarity, Social Inclusion and Family. 
  • The Council of Government began examining and approving draft Decree No. 2.23.72 implementing Law No. 06.18 on the organization of contractual voluntary work, presented by Mr. Mustapha Baitas, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of relations with Parliament, Government Spokesman. 
  • The Council of Government  continued its work by discussing and approving the draft decree No. 2.23.245 setting the forms and modalities of payment and support for the Fund for the modernization of public administration and support for the digital transition and Amazigh access, presented by Ms. Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform.

The Council of Government concluded its work by deliberating and approving proposals for appointments to positions of responsibility in accordance with article 92 of the Constitution. 

  • At the level of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the following have been appointed:
    • Mr. Rachid Hajbi, Director of the Higher School of Education and Training of Oujda. 
  • At the level of the National Territory and Urban Planning, Housing, and City Policy – National Territory and Urban Planning,  Department, the appointment of: 
    • Mr. Abdelhadi Benyahia, Director of the National School of Architecture of Rabat. 
    • Ms. Rajaa Mounir, Regional Inspector of Urban Planning, Architecture and Regional Planning of the Marrakech-Safi region. 
    • Mr. Mohamed Aherzoune, Director of the Urban Agency of El Jadida, Sidi Bennour.
